I don’t get to do as much hands on work anymore, so projects like this are something I really enjoy. After years of working on cars every day, it feels good to dig in and do some physical work again. Building this retaining wall taught me a lot...way more than I expected. There’s a whole science behind doing these right, and it’s nice being able to look at a wall or a foundation now and actually know if it was done correctly.
