Jan 17, 2021 · Grease contaminates the pulley and belt, once the washer tries to spin, the grease lets the belt slip and ultimately slips off. Is it loud during spin cycle yet?

If this were a car I'd tell you to check your belt tensioner. Do washing machines have those? Seems like the belt is loose so it isn't turning the drum.
