Week 16 of the NFL season continued with an NFC East battle on FOX, as the Philadelphia Eagles (10-5) defeated the Washington Commanders (4-11) to clinch first place in the division.
The Commanders fall to 4-12 with a 30-23 loss to the Cowboys, who improve to 7-8-1. Washington quarterback Josh Johnson was 15 for 23 for 198 yards. Dallas QB Dak Prescott was 19 for 37 for 307 yards and two touchdown passes. Commanders rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt rushed for 105 yards and two scores in defeat.
